We All Know How to Earn Money

Every year there are money experts that want your money to make you get rich. They want to get rich at your expense. Many books and guides have been written over the years. Making money is one of the top topics available.  The are writers making money by writing books. Here is a recent sampling:

Have you had any success with a book or course?

Well the bottom line is that there are only a few ways available for you to earn money:

1. Get a Job and be an employee

This is the method that most people will follow for all of their life. You are taught from an early age, that you should go to school, study hard, get a job, work hard and life will take care of itself. For some people this will help them to pay their bills but its not a career they are really passionate about it. They simply work to pay their bills and hope they will have enough money when it is time to retire.

We generally want others to take the risk of starting the company and we will work for them. But our income is limited to what the employer is willing to pay for the work we do. Also in most jobs we must follow orders and instructions. Until we have much knowledge and experience the employer wants us to do the work as they best know it should be done. It is a known fact that most people remain employees for the peace of mind of having a regular pay check and they know where the next check is coming and when.

2. Become an Entrepreneur

Maybe only 10% of the population will choose this option because they have no idea what they can do to have people or businesses buy their products or services. Most people want the security of a regular paycheck. They have financial obligations and possibly a family to support.

Most people think that they must come up with some brand new product or service to get customers. That's not true - you simply can do what is already being done but better and give more value. Restaurants open every day the concept of serving food is not new. Professionals like lawyers, doctors and accountants are everywhere. What about tradespeople like plumbers, electricians and others start their own business. You can learn these skills the same way you go to school and get a degree.

You don't need years and years of schooling to start a business as a chef, hairstylist, designer, yoga instructor, fitness or nutrition coach, tutor, real estate or insurance agent to name just a few careers. Most of these careers offer specialized short term train and then you become qualified and are ready to go.

3. Be and Employee with a Side-line Business

For those people that are more adventurous and daring and have a passion to pursue work that makes them more engaged there is this combination.

Have the security and a career of a good paying job while you develop your personal interests on a side-line basis.  You can avoid some of the financial risks in your lifestyle while you learn the business you want to pursue and get clients.

I'm not here to tell you how to earn a living that choice is up to you. The point of this blog is to open your mind to the possibilities that are out there and support you to be successful in whatever you choose to do.
